Herbicide looks good as does physiological leaf scorch or pretty extreme deficiency. Combo perhaps.

  1. We had a late fall season here in PA. A good number of trees still had their leaves until last week. They extended municipal leaf pickup by 1 week because of this. Could it just be a normal thing caused by the weather this season?
  2. The tree is on my neighbor's property but it is close to my property line. I did use a selective lawn weed killer this summer - one that kills clover in addition to the "normal" lawn weeds, and I did spray the area under that tree. I don't remember if it was a Bayer, Round-up, Spectricide, or Ortho brand, but it was 1 of those.
It's not really a big deal, I was just wondering if there was a known reason as to why the leaves would look like this. They do look really cool IMHO - not just the solid brownish-red that they usually get.
