Have this nice Pioneer 650 to trade. I'd consider trading for any interesting Echo, John Deere, Poulan, or McCulloch. Tell me what you have.
The saw is remarkably clean in my opinion. Nice paint overall. Has the original Pioneer guide bar and chain... forgot to measure it. The top cover and decal is in great shape. Guide bar is in nice condition.
It has an insane amount of compression... I don't have access to my compression gauge because its buried in a storage locker, but its easy to tell by pulling the rope it has great compression. The piston photo shows how nice it is.
Chrome handle has nice chrome and its not dented or smashed any place. Rubber cushion on handle is nice and not split.
Listed below are the flaws:
1) Clutch cover has a crack in it, but I'd live with it since its not anything critical. (Shown in picture).
2) The saw has absolutely no spark. The upside to that is the saw probably sat on the shelf, and has not had much use.
3) The small tin louvered cover that fits on the end of the exhaust is missing.
4) About 12" to 14" of the chain were rusted quite a bit. I soaked it and freed it up some, but the chain does not move very freely in that section. I would certainly replace the chain if it were me.
Give me some time to reply, because I most likely won't be near a computer for 4 or 5 days.
Also, serious inquiries only please. If you are not certain if you want to part with your saw, that's understandable... simply contact me when you decide for sure.
