Up for sale is a Pioneer P52 with a 655BP top end. This saw's backstory is pretty simple, it was bought new by a timber faller who ran Pioneers until he retired a few years ago. This saw was outfitted with a 655BP kit (new carb, p/c, and the necessary BP-specific ignition bits) shortly before the guy retired and sold off all his saw stuff to my buddy, who I'm selling the saw for. As I recall, for saws that weren't originally BP's (like this one) he'd use a P61 thin-ring piston with the BP jug to get around the con-rod differences. I can verify that this saw runs, cuts, and oils well as I test ran it myself. I'm selling it with a lightly used 36" 3/8 x 0.063 Oregon D009 bar that has been modified to fit this saw and a decent used chain to match. $650 + the ride sounds good to me, but I'm open to offers.
