Boy I hope I am in the right area of the forum.
Anyway trying to repair a P61 for a neighbor. Has the Tilly HS 213A carb. In the carb kit there are two identical Pump Diaphrams. One is black and real thin rubber would be my best description. The other is
gold.. looking (almost looks like screen). And the new gasket is also there.

In the carb.. the old pump diaphram was black with a black gasket. (no gold mesh in there at all.)

In other posts.(for other carbs. ). I have seen the gold looking diaphram referred to as the "pump diaphram."
Do I use the black or gold version.. or both and if not both why are they both in the kit.??
Maybe one is a upgrade?? I know kits come with extra parts for multiple carbs but these two parts are identical except for material used.
thanks
Don

Hi Don,

Either can be used but the original which was used in your carburettor is the black rubber type.

Oh I see now I am in the wrong place. I knew there had to be a Chainsaw forum but sure could not find it before. If you know how to move this entire post please so so.
Further questions I have will be posted there.

thanks
