Just had a friend offer to trade his Pioneer P62 to me - anyone know what this is worth? He says it runs good and is in good shape.

Those saws are priced mainly according to condition. If it runs good and looks rough $200 or so is the bottom. If it's nice and runs good it can bring $400 or so as seen on ebay. I like those series of saws. I want a poulan pro 655 BP.

Thanks for all the help - I'll go over and take a look at it an let you know what I find out. Maybe I'll be able to post a picture.

If you have trouble with uploading pics PM me, and I'll send my email and post pics for you.

The P62 is a fun saw, as others said without seeing and knowing condition hard to put a price on it.

You will like a Pioneer P62 if it's running good, regardless of the dollar value of it. For 200-250 dollars you can't even touch a 40cc Stihl or Husky these days. Absolutely a bad boy.

I have a P65, a lttile bit newer version of a P62.

If the typical P62 is worth $250, then yours is worth $1000! What a beatiful saw Arrowhead built. That's the saw that turned me onto these.

Me too, I didn't know I wanted a Pioneer/Partner PP655 until I got this one.

Pioneer made some cool saws, I now have a P20 that when you pull the rope it engages the decomp when the pulley retracts it closes the decomp. I been wanting to get some pics of it and put it in a thread.

The Pioneer Farmsaw has a similar setup to that. Somewhat of a weak design, prone to problems, but fixable. The Farmsaw is a good funning saw and very similar in design, but not build quality, to the bigger P series saws.
