Please help ID this homelite

HI,
Have really no clue which saw this is. Carb is a HL 222A. Think its a xp, but may be a C because of the recoil?

Either a C series, or an XP. sorry I cant get you any further than you already are on this one.

I see a listing for the HL 222A carb, is Homelite # A-63585 and used on -
XP 1020
XP 1020 A
Super XP 1020
Super XP 1020 A
1050 Auto

Found it in an old Homelite dealers manual. It has some of the carbs and a few list what saws they were used on.

Hello, The unit you have doesn't have an auto oiler so I would guess XP-1020 or a XP-1000 with a FM starter. Jonathan

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have one real close to that and I like the way they look. When you see one like that you are looking at history and can see how far the new saws have evolved.
