Not many seem to get this, so i'll try here... (i'm not as tough as Big E; but don't think i'm gonna wise up and give up...)
A buddy gave me this, the label said it is for splitting firewood safely. Dang good bucking tool! This ain't no Garage; No cuss word intended!
Definitely has made a differance on a few jobs, especially not dulling saw. It works well with a regular wedge too for bucking larger stuff. The plastic wedge falls down deeper automatically in vertical cuts, allowing easier use of the Pogo, or holding place as you take the Pogo to another angle or even cut.
Playing with this extra force, to the same task; has even sharpened up some observations on wedging technique. The Pogo also reaches into the cut, to keep driving wedge deeper, where you usually wouldn't be able to reach a wedge. The Wedge is thicker, giving more pressure at a given position too.
Can't find out were they ordered it from, but he got it from someone that paid ~$38 for it. i'm thinking it is worth that.
