Jameson's telescoping polesaw got a workout in richmond. Good solid tool for general work, but too heavy for easy tip pruning compared to Florian's mini-pruner.

I'm glad I bought it, but hope they come out with a lighter version.

Guy.

After reading your post, I decided it was time to try one and ordered it yesterday, with their head and a Mondo blade.

I'm looking forward to see how this new toy is going to work out.

I couldn't stop at just ordering a pole saw, had to get some other new toys to go with it. :D

Once you explore all the ways of using it, you'll wonder how you ever worked without it. Setting ropes, pulling branches and trees the way you want, and making clean cuts 14' away, then sliding it down to 7' for easy moveability, it's great. Eye hook for clipping to saddle; never had one before, so nice.

Without a good telescoping polesaw I'd be so slow and tired and do such crappy work I'd probably be looking to get re-tired from climbing, instead of planning on a few decades more in the trees in the breeze.
