Yea thanks, I'm not too worried if I don't sell it, it's not a big deal I'll just keep it, it's a bad arse little saw and fun to run, I just like the bigger saws better, must be the Ironworker in me. I've given some nice deals on this site, just looking for fair value.

I didn't mean to offend, I try to get the most out of a saw as I can too. I like to start high, a seller can always come down.
I love the ported 550xp, like I said it is worth the high cost.

This is "trading post", not yard sale.... i see no harm in starting out high and being willing to negotiate if that's your thing. Id certainly not knock someone for trying, if wanting to make low offer, privately is the way to go.

Unfortunately though, because this is Arboristsite, a lot of guys feel like you should be offering a dirt-cheap or bargain price to begin with. I don't agree with that. I think a guy should offer a saw at fair market value to begin with and go from there.
