Hello, has anyone had porting done by hmwf llc? I have a saw iam thinking about sending to him and would like some feedback first.

Perhaps his customers are too busy using their expertly modded working saws to make videos.

Generally speaking, people don’t say much unless they’re complaining about something. In this case that’s a good thing.

Best way to choose someone is do your homework, as you are.
From an honesty and integrity standpoint, Joe is as good as any. If you send him a stock saw, you will get a ported saw back.

I’m not a customer of his, more of a competitor and friend. Don’t have a high percentage of my customers bragging up my saws publicly either. I’d guess they’re out logging or cutting firewood rather than taking pics of saws on a shelf

Joe and Kevin is both good people. Met them both at Sawfest in Ohio this year.

I spoke with him again this morning, seems like a really good guy and willing to talk for a bit about what I had going on and was looking for, Reserved dec 5th, gonna ship out my saw tonight or tomorrow night after work

Got my ms460 back from HMWF figured I would post the results here. Can’t wait to fire it up and make some cuts with it, just have to get through some snow to get to the wood lol. Than I need to find some bigger logs to test it out with the 32” bar
