I really don't have any trouble with rules as long as they apply to all. What I hate as much as anything are double standards.

This rule. " Incites illegal activity, such as how to build a bomb, counterfeit money,
drugs, etc."

"Illegal Activity"? Much of the discussions on this board regards modifying emission engines. Doing so is "Illegal".

OK, so I'm not a huge poster here anyway and most likely I won't be missed. But count me as history around here. I won't have anything to do with people who make rules for other but not apply the same standards, the same integrity they claim to profess while conducting Illegal Activity openly and blatently.

See Ya.

Brian....I appreciate your backing...lol...but telling someone to "go blow" might also fall under the posting guidelines as unacceptable.

What I am referring to, as a whole, is the way this forum is going.....I like having an open forum, where we can speak our minds, go a bit off topic, and it doesn't matter...BUT, with the light of recent incidents, our members(including myself) are guilty of doing the same things we are condemning of new members...ie: name calling...come on guys and gals...we are better than that....

I think Nevada was joking when he made that post...that is how I read it....maybe I am wrong...but what if Gypo had of said it??? How would you take it then??

Actually, I don't mind talk of other tree care sites..etc...we know we have the best forum around, and being able to discuss other forums only makes us better than the rest...

Ahhh, as long as you said that, is there a third forum? I'm aware of the other (where nothing much seems to happen) one.

Is it just us, and them?

Is there a full moon out?

The saws that we modify are built for competition use only, and that is Not against any law. I also have no control over what my customers use them for.
You can go into any new car dealer, buy a car equipped with an emission engine, modify it for the track. Is this also against the law.Do you think that all of the engines on the race track are pre emission engines? I will stop building saws when they stop building race cars.

Hey Nevada, can you please send me a detailed grocery list of requirements to get me thru to the Gates of Heaven?

Dennis MVP Good post back to Rocky Squirrel. This is how things have been going on some of my posts. And they wonder why I haven't given back chain filing information. As they say in Nascar, cautions breed cautions.

As I have said, everyone here, including myself, is guilty of falling out of posting guidelines. We all need to grow up. Lets keep personal issues, well..., personal issues...and lets keep the information and fun flowing...that is what Arboristsite is all about...information...(and some fun)

Dennis C., I got your message, but can't find my address book to call you back....email me with it....
