Posting Pic's

How do you post actual pictures when i post threads or respond to threads? Do you have go to photobucket.com???? I tried that with no luck.

i upload all pics in my hotmail account and then save them back to my computer to post here. i dont have the program to make them smaller this sight regures 600x400 or something there like 3400x1200 before hotmail makes them smaller.


i then after all that hit manage attachments button when makeing reply or new thread and then that opens it up so you can browse your computer and get your pics to upload to AS

confuseing???????? im sure it is it took me along time to get it

Click Post Reply-toward the bottom click manage attachments.Assuming you've already loaded your pictures off your camera and saved them,open them in a graphics application and go to resize.Type in 800 pixels wide-then click "save-as".Simply drag and drop this resized picture in the manage attachments window,then click upload.

that sounds much easier than what i do.

i studied the poisting pictures for dummies thread for awhile before i got

Sounds easy enough. I use infraview to make the pics smaller or bigger.

I use visio picture manager-I have like 5 other picture programs but I like this one the best.

I use Micro soft picture express9.0. You can also use paint to size pictures.

Photo bucket will size them for you too.

I just did everything you said to do and when i went to drag it, it wouldn't let me drag the pic

Ive been messing around with internet picture shrinker til now. I talked to wifes cousin,computer guru for local PD, and he showed me this. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx These are genuine microsoft programs. Download and then just rightclick on pic and shrink it. Then you have to go through all the other bull to put on AS. I dont think its that hard just time consuming.

Okay, i got it to drag into the manage attachement, but now all it shows in manage attachment is the whole picture and know where to click upload

Resize the windows so you can see your picture application and the manage attachments window.Left click on the picture and drag it over to the M.A. window.Place the drag right over the top portion of the M.A. window and drop........Works for me anyway.........:monkey:

PM me if you would like....I can school you on photobucket. Trust me, if I can do it......anybody can do it......Except maybe this guy.

After you upload the pictures to photobucket, run your mouse over them and the options bar will pop up from the picture, click on the IMG tag, copy, then paste here. You could also copy the direct link and put the [ IMG]link[/IMG ] in between those tags. (Remove Spaces)
