Poulan 306a's Wanted

Looking to buy any running, non running Poulan 306a's and 245's. Also looking for a good cylinder and piston sets for same saws.

How many you got and what are your prices? I'll even buy the craftsman orange/red versions if you have any of those laying around. If you've got some good pistons and cylinders for either saw setting around I'll buy those too.

I guess I probably have 8 or 10 here, more back in VA. I have not seen a Craftsman version, but W.W. Grainger rebranded them as Dayton's. Would you prefer runners or builders, set up for a bow or bar?

I would prefer runners set up for a bar. Builders are great too though. Parts are just getting so hard to find now that I tend to shy away from really bad ones unless they are cheap or free. If you do happen to run across the Craftsman 306A's shot me a message and I'll buy them if they are decent. I have a really nice one and it is the only one I have ever seen. I also need a cylinder and piston for a 306 that I was given due to the guy not knowing what was wrong with the saw. It looks like he ran straight fuel through her. The saw is like new other than what he did to it. It was his dad's and he took it last year when he died so that is the story on that one. Thanks for the reply and the information on the Dayton's and I hope we can do some business.

I should have known better.... A newbie shows up and wants some 306's so I take 90 minutes out of my day to pull them out, pull the mufflers to check the cylinders, do compression checks and photograph them. Load all the pictures and provide a description of each saw in 2 PM's and never hear from the OP. What a waste of time.

Guido, sorry to hear that happened, i have also spent valuable time with potential customers several hours only to have them say they will try their luck on Ebay. I have learned several lessons and still learning.

Well Guido this newbie had an emergency surgery and I was in the hospital and laid up for a few days and didn't know what I was going to be able to do until the doctors gave me the all clear. I was going to buy most of your saws starting as of today, but now, no thank you. I am sorry to have taken up your time.
