Poulan 3400 Help

Greetings,
I have a poulan 3400 that has been a reliable workhorse for years. The saw was in storage for 10 years while I worked in Germany. I am rep;lacing the fuel and vent line, but I am not sure how to and where to run the vent line??? Any ideas?

The vent runs into the air box but I can't remember where it goes from there.

Ive got one..but I dont think I have a vent line..:bang:

Poulan service manual says to position vent line under ignition switch for models 3400,3700 and 4000.
