I picked up a parts machine project that I am looking to piece back together & I am looking for the following:

Starter/recoil complete
Air filter cover
Muffler front
Chain brake parts

Also looking for a Stihl 039 piston

Let me know what you have & need for them Thanks!

I did the same thing you did, bought a parts saw and ended up building it. I don't have any spare parts to offer but you might check online or with your local dealer on the parts as many of them are quite reasonable. I think the air filter cover can be had for under 10$ new. The chainbrake shows NLA but I found one on amazon as a kit with the muffler for around $20. I don't remember which saw it was for. It was one that originally came with a guard not a brake. IDK about the recoil.

I was scouring ebay for parts for these saws and was shocked to find that in most instances new parts could be had cheaper than used.

I agree about the new being cheaper than used, was hoping I could find one lot & pay shipping once. Figured I would see what I come with used & what I can get new. Thanks!

I have a chainbrake assembly complete in good working order from a 330 I could get rid of, I replaced it with a metal chainbrake/clutch cover off the 2800/3000 chassis saws. I also have a 20" and 22" "Poulan Pro" branded bars in good shape I could get rid of, I have a muffler off a 336 that is different but would work.
