So I've been working on this one for a while and I'm still trying to get the thing running right. However, I found another saw locally that I want to buy so I'm going to put this one up for sale.
There are quite a few posts in the Poulan Thread over the last 2 months on it.

Long story short, after carb kit, new fuel lines, gaskets, etc, still won't run right. Starts right up and runs but can't get idle right, I think there is an air leak somewhere.

I am also keeping the air filter/cylinder cover because the other saw I'm getting is missing that. It's not the prettiest thing, but hopefully someone can get it running right and use it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Make me a fair offer + shipping.

Thanks

It looks like one of the screws in the handle underneath may be striped out, it's missing.
There is a small crack in the plastic piece that sits under the carb so I put a little motoseal on the outside of it. It may need to be replaced or it may be fine I don't know but it doesn't seem to leak air.

I wish you would have disclosed the damage to the case when we were trying to diagnose the saw for you, that thing could have additional damage externally, $80 shipped would be my guess due to the UN known

Thanks guys. The sheet metal piece is just there for protection, it's fine underneath. I don't think there is to much damage on the case. Anyway, I've decided to keep the 4200, I picked up a 5200 locally cheap yesterday, the saw I was talking about and it needed a few parts, mostly some screws for the handle and the air filter. So I'm just going to use it for some parts if I can't get it running down the road.
