Poulan Micro 25

Hello ,
I have an older Poulan Micro 25 with a 10 inch bar.
I'm having trouble finding a new 10 chain, 40 links.

I wonder if it would be possible to change to a either a 12 or a 14
bar/chain combination?

These seem to readily available.

Yup, either move up in bar and chain size. Another option would be to have some links knocked out of a new 14" chain. No need to pitch a good bar.

Doc, welcome to AS. I would give Bailey's a call. They are good people. You might want to replace your drive sprocket if yours is worn before you put on a new chain.

Poulan 10"

For my poulan with a 10" b+c I run just the oregon brand chain in either one of these. Oregon 91P040G 91VG040G 40 3/8LP" .050 .
I buy it at Tractor Supply Company for $9 a loop. Home Depot also carrys it in some other brand, Lowes carrys it in oregon. Hope it helps you and it is still out there and pretty easy to find still. Also I have some extra poulan hognose oem nos 12" and 14" bars and one 12" hardnose, if you want to go bigger.
