I came across this Poulan Pro PP5118. I can't find much info on this saw. I think it is not a current model but if anyone can give some more detailed specs or has used one and can give a report of their experience i would appreciate it.

All I found is it is 51cc and 4.9 kg in weight. It has a chromed cylinder, and easy start system and a superclean air system to keep air filter clean. It uses K095 bars.

It has never been fueled. I can get it for a crazy price of $80 to my door. I would like to have a cheap but ok saw to leave all the time in a tool box on my work truck. When i am quoting jobs if someone needs something cut quickly i will always have a saw with me. If it gets stolen i haven't lost a great deal of cash unlike if it was my other Huski's and Dolmar's.

Is it ok and worth the $80? Bear in mind that these were selling for around $300 retail over here.

That's different! Something rebadged? I don't see much in common with any other Poulan models I'm familiar with. Is the fuel tank in the handle?

From the photo i posted the tank is in the handle. I believe it is a newer model just not a current or "brand new" model.

Here is a Poulan dealer and the page i got the limited info from.

Buy it and do a review for us...

I am very tempted to.

I have never seen one before, it looks like a modern design. Most Poulans of that size run pretty good with a little bit of tuning, here in the USA they seem to be set rather lean. $80 for a 51cc new Poulan saw sounds good to me.

I had a mate that had a wild thing years ago and it was a nice little saw. Oh it is a magnesium case too according to the dealer page i pulled the limited info from. Starting to sound like a real good saw for $80. :)

That is Husqvarna clamshell construction without a separate lower end cap.

So what is the 61cc PP? http://hasmow.com.au/products.php?what=product&id=109

Damn!! I had to got to Sydney yesterday for a close friends 30th birthday. It's around a 3hr one way drive and i had to leave earlier than i expected as he rang and needed help setting up furniture and preparing food etc..
Long story short i had no time to use the computer before i left and now the seller has taken it off the listing. It did not say it was sold, so i will contact him and find out if it is still available. Maybe he realised what he had and is going to keep it!!
I'm really annoyed about this. Sorry everyone, i was looking forward to letting you all know what it was like.
