a friend at work got one for christmass.he is have trouble with it.
where would he take it for warenty work i dont know of any dealers. how would he find one.

what kinda trouble is he having..
service is an weakness of those saws ,,here anyway..thats why i think the whole thing is kinda opposite the way it should be..while i like my 295 .. the homeowner doesnt have any buisiness,, with an saw,, with no dealer support..
people with rite much saw experience,, can on the other hand,, do pretty good with one..jmo
 
he seems to having some king of fuel problem ,saw bogs down
and sputters when reved out of the cut
 
it really sounds like an carb adjust..
but u know what ,,its so new id tell the friend to take it back for another one..

These things come from the factory very lean. If you go removing the limiter caps and re-adjust, I am sure you void the warranty. Take it back and have them make it right. Or give him a new one.

OR, buy from a dealer so you don't have this problem.(Sorry, couldn't resist):D
