Poulan Pro

I've acquired a Poulan Pro 18" 42cc from my Dad. I'd like to keep it if it is worth keeping as it has an 18" bar and my Stihl has a 14" bar.

He is long gone so I can't ask him... can I use the same gas/oil as my Stihl chainsaw?
