So can anyone here tell me what the different Poulan Colors represent Like the Poulan Off white color vs the pale green kind a yellowish color and the bright green color on the older saws I just picked up a Super 33 and it seems to be the green/yellowish I also have a 361 that is the green/yellowish and I see the sandcast in the white and Yellowish/Green.
I have seen the 361 in the yellowish/green and the bright green. I have the Yellowish colored ones. Is it just an age manufacturing thing?

I am also curious about this. I recently bought and restored a Poulan Super 33 in the Sand Caste color. I have yet to find any distinguishable difference between them. My thoughts were that it was a color option?? Kind of like buying a car in a different color.

No there were not color options on them like a car. LOL

They changed colors over the years.

Poulan saws were unpainted at first then in 1962 they started painting them for the first time.

The Beige color was first then the Yellow/Green color came out in 1965. I would have to go look it up but seems the new magnesium saws were first in the green while the sandcast saws might have stayed beige for another year or two. The darker lime green didn't show up till the mid 70's.

But I hope this explains why you see say Super 33's (and others) in beige and the yellow/green colors. Later on there were same models found in yellow/green and the darker lime green. It was strictly the years of production .
