i have a like new poulan wildthing chainsaw with a 18" bar, and case. i bought this saw brand new and only used it maybe 4 times. i would like to get $75 for it or will trade it on a stihl or husqvarna parts saw or a rebuildable one, the only reason i am getting rid of this is because i bought a husky 257 and it blows this poulan away and i will never go back to the poulan again, to me it's only good for a boat anchor now, lol. email me at [email protected] with what you got to trade

I got a bag o' peanuts! Nothing personal, but you really need to sell that thing in a local paper. This website is full of experienced people w/ real saws :dizzy:

I would take the poulan, but I've seen the bigger and better saws so I'm not into the wildthings no more.

lol

i hate poulans but i'm sure it will cut rings around that ole 1-42 or whatever model mcculloch you have oldsawaddict :p in you picture next to your name, those are just about as worthless as poulans, but make better boat anchors, lol i bought this saw on a budget until i could afford a real saw, so people please refrain from cracking jokes about my poulan because i already no it is junk, lol

usmc,
I have a 257 also, I dont think any new poulan could run with it.
You might be lucky to get lucky to get 40 to 60$ out of that wild thing.
:dizzy:

i would even trade it for a bare 066 and up stihl crankcase to rebuild from the ground up just to get rid of the poulan

I have the foundation of a Husky 285, might be enough parts to make a saw, I won't guarantee that though. I don't want the wildthing but will take it. If you pay all the shipping, I'll throw a second 285 carcass in.
