Im cutting some kind of coffee tree for my aunt right now and it has a real interesting grain so I want to take a piece of it to make an end table. I want to cut across the grain at a point where several limbs come together. I basically want to cut a 3 inch thick cookie and put some legs under it. How do I dry it to prevent it from cracking and splitting? The tree is live right now and pretty high moisture %...
