Worked with the new saw over the last few days. Found today that when the saw is used to cut a tree with the Oil cap and Fuel cap side down the fuel tank leaks. Checked the cap and it is good. Seems like when the saw is turned this way fuel leaks from somewhere from the plastic tank and runs around where the cap is. This tells me it is leaking from somewhere on top or something. I am going to take it back to my dealer Monday. Anyone got any suggestion on what it might be?? I was thinking maybe it was some kind of check valve in the tank that stops fuel from coming out the top, and it might be stuck open. I am not sure what it might be. I am hoping I did not get a bad one. I also hope this is not going to be a Stihl recall of leaking tanks again like there was before!!! HELP!!!!!!! with sugestions PLEASE!!!!! Thanks, Cord Cutter.

Just take it in on monday and leave it to get checked out. If they have a capable tech it should be fixed in no time and problem solved.
