Hi guys. I have been reading these threads for months now. I think this site is a great idea. I learned many things from you guys. I have an older promark stump grinder, 16 hp kohler. I have a broken shaft at the cutting wheel. Can anyone help with advice about what company, or a web site I can go to for parts. thank you.

Gravely took over the Promark chipper line-I don't know about the stump grinders. If you can't find factory parts that would be a fairly simple fabrication for a machine shop.

Just for everyone's info, Gravely discontinued making chippers effective Jan. 1, 2003. They never did make the stump grinders.

A further update:

The Gravely line of chippers has been bought by M-B Company. They are located in Wisconsin. Phone number is 920-898-1560.

M-B will now make the chippers under the name M-B.

I own a Gravely chipper - 108 horse Perkins Turbo; 12" - and it took me awhile to hunt down the current manufacturer.

Gravely sold the Promark stump grinder to Rayco shortly after they purchased the line from the Baer family. Actually the Promark line was manufactured by Doscosill ( Dosko ) for the Baer family.
