Hi, I'm new here. Not a pro, but just somebody with a question...

I recently dug up an old Pioneer P21 chainsaw from the shed at the cottage. Probably hadn't been run in 20 years. Still had some fuel in it so I gave it a pull. It started after only a little coaxing. Knowing that the gas was bad I drained it and cleaned it up but now I have no idea what the proper gas/oil mix is? It's not printed on the gas cap. Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction? (Model P21 Ser# 1401086)

Thanks!

I would recommend a 32:1 ratio with Mobil MX2T full synthetic oil rather than the manufacturer brand oil. MX2T is cleaner burning prevents plug fouling or at least reduces it, allows a saw to perform better and some other things too. its not much more expensive than regular 2 stroke oil either.
