A couple months ago I purchased a PP346xp from Dan Henry when I decided to sell my fixed jet Stihl 260. The saw arrived at my doorstop in such an unbelievably clean condition that I almost thought he had sent me a stock saw by mistake. Each time I run the saw, using Oregon's 95VP or LG chain, I realize how strong this deceptively little saw is. With the 95VP chain the saw is simply unstoppable.

Just as impressed as I have been with this saw, I was equally impressed by the interactions that took place between me and Dan. He was always a pleasure to speak with on the phone or via email. I'd like to give Dan props not only for the excellent work he has done on this saw, but also for his service. Thanks Dan!

Regards,
Rob McFall

Ya know, at first I didn't like the way Dan designated his saws as the politically incorrect "PP", It sounded to sappy at first, but now to the initiated, "PP", stands for "Pissin' it's Pants", but "DD", also smacks of Dueling Dalton.

I feel a little bad that I have not posted my feelings about Dozer Dan yet. You see he modified an Echo CS-670 for me, and I really have not had time to use it enough to make any educated statement, but I do agree that Dan is a man with integrity. I had the pleasure of buying a saw from him a couple years ago on ebay, and with dealing with him on the power porting. I will guarantee Dan will do whatever he can to take care of the customer, and he'll make sure that you get a little more than you expected on any transaction. I will follow up when I get a chance to really run the saw!

I think I might put dan on the payroll so I can write this addiction off. Dan the 357xp Rocks and after playing with it again today I know it will blow out a 372xp stock. The saw in the pic is Dans better work.

Hey Mark, I thought you only had 2 2100's, Do I see three there, this has got to be another Danny Henry joke. I hope the one with the XP decal is mine or I am gonna snap! And why wouldn't I? Next thing you know, there is gonna be the 999 in that pile.
Regardless, I have my buddy Ken Dunn, who likes my 346 more than I do. And why wouldn't he, he's just waitin' on the port timing that Danny puts into his saws.

I thought I was supposed to give Mark the 2100 and the 999,did I make a mistake?
I will send Ken the timing figures, along with instructions as to what piston he can use.Homelite pistons seem to fit in some of the orange saws.I think Mark like orange.

The rope on that particular saw had a many hours of Research and Development in it.Mark needed a saw that would be competitive in an upcoming saw throwing event. He has an unusual technique, which he called "the over head twirl".The new rope design should prove to be a great asset to his style.
I also picked up your new 338.
Jeff
Yes I have a new 34 with your name on it.I also have the redesigned AV. spring for your blue Dolmar.
Sometimes I am a little on the slow side.I missed the PP in your above post.I will get right on it.

MM,

Pfffsssssst!!!!:alien:

I'm baaaaaaack!!

Lot's of work to do, tho, and sleep to catch up on!!

And prolly some questions for ya!!!

ebay, here we come!!

Hurry, Dan, on the 338, purty puleeze!!! Cause I'm about ready to do the toss, on my recalcitrant 335, but very likely from high aloft. It may well land in the next county!!!

Recalcitrant

Hey Rog, I like that word, but what does it mean? That will be my big word of the week. It sounds like I could use it out of context, but still sound like I knew what I was talking about.
John

John, putting "re" at the front of the word means to do it again, so that "recalcitrant" means "calcitrant all over again", much the same as the formations "do" and "redo", "ward" and "reward", "luctant" and "reluctant", "peat" and "repeat", etc.

Don't thank me, it's my pleasure to help.

Glen

Thanks Glen, but what does calcitrant mean? Is it a derivitive of calous? Therefore RB's 335 is being calous one more time?
A dictionary would be handy, but this way I am sure to never use the word out of context.
John

Maybe that dictionary would help you to learn to spell, as well as understand woids, and why wouldn't it?

And now, it's back to recallousing the palm.
