Sharing a little news here first on the Arborist Site. Washington Hot Saws will soon be offering After Market Clutch Covers and Dogs for several models of stihl saws. The proto types are in and we have just finished up the evaluations on the covers. The dogs will be ready for production as soon as the evaluations are done. This is purely a formality though as the proto types are way better than we could have ever expected.

Clutch Covers: These are similar to the short 044 clutch covers. They will come equipped with the rubber skirt and plastic guards on the inside and will retail for $30 each. Dealer and quantity pricing will be available. The quality of these are unbelievable and compare to the originals in every way at a fraction of the price. These covers will fit the following models:
024, 026, 034, 036, 038, 044, 046, 064, 066 and all the corresponding MS models

BIG DAWGS
Dogs: If you are tired of the flimsy production dogs that are supplied with the pro saws that stihl is producing right now, then you are going to love these. We have just got our first batch of BIG DAWGS delivered. We have taken an old version and improved upon it. We have made it out of a new material which is actually stronger than the materials currants used by stihl and we thickened it up to make it stiffer. These dogs will retail for $21.00 per set with dealer and quantity discounts available. These dogs will fit the following models:
045, 056, 024, 026, 034, 036, 038, 044, 046, 064, 066 and all the corresponding MS models

New products will be available Mid Fall 2006.

simular. Ours are made from a differant material and a little cheaper is all. Wed do not claim that they are any better in quality or such. Just another option in style, especially if you are looking for some thing with a lot of bite.

IF we get a lot of requests we will start making other styles as well for other models.

Was curious, got a 066 running naked without a set of dawgs.
Do they use stock hardware to bolt up? or do they come with hardware for mounting?
