Winter time is when I get to do a lot of my reading for both work and fun and this winter I want to focus more on pruning and pruning in relation to asthetics, promoting natural tree growth, and theory/reasoning behind pruning. I have seen this as an area I need to work on and I will appreciate any info. and recommended books. I have seen a gradual shift in my area towards better tree care practices and want to be able to stimulate that growth with the knowledge necessary to help homeowners make the right decision. I want the results of my work pruning a tree to benefit the overall health of the tree not just its appearence in the short term. I see this as an important step in growing my business and building long term tree care relationships with my customers as I can show them that periodic upkeep of the trees on their property can be less costly than ignoring a growing problem. Thanks!
