Does the muffler need to be "un crimped" in order to modify the muffler?

Looking inside, I can see a large baffle but can't tell how it is made up. Has anyone done one of these?

You don't have to uncrimp the muffler. I have done several of these mufflers and what I do is cut the top of the baffle/basket out and add a second port. A dremel tool is needed to get in the muffler. It isn't easy so be patient. Be sure to deburr all the cut areas and clean the muffler of all shavings!

I also enlarged the stock outlet too!!!

This will help..........Dual-Port

it is unbelieveable what this does to a 6400
Rich,is it also possible that your mod helps fuel consumption?
It seems like I go farther on a tank of fuel, but I never really kept track before

That I can't answer. I have never really given fuel consumption any thought. I consider fuel consumption in chainsaw as much as if I owned a Hemi 'Cuda...........which is not all!!! ;)
