Actually, if you could also hook up a hyd splitter to a set of remotes you could cut and split from the same tank of fuel...

We use one for bucking up slab wood. It works great. Much quicker than doing it with a chainsaw. Depending on the unit powering it, it might be a little weak for bigger rounds. Even some of the larger slabs I put through it made it bog down a bit. I don't know how comprable the tractors are with each other, but the saw looks about the same size.
 
I have what was once a belt-driven buzz saw rigged up with 10 hp Tecumseh engine. I cut locust logs almost exclusively, and have put up to a 10" log through it without a lot of trouble. Could certainly stand a bigger powerplant, but I got the engine for 10 bucks and once I got the wasp nests out of the exhaust and went through the carb., it works pretty well.
