Hope it helps.
Yeah that can happen if the duckbill isn’t fully seated, it forces fuel back into the carb and then through the drillings! I have had that. Pull the purge off, remove the duckbill valve and re-insert it with some oil and push firmly downMine quit being of use. If I pumped it like I have since new it just flooded the saw and wouldn't start. If I ignore it and don't even use it the saw starts on 2nd or 3rd pull. 8 yr old Echo CS400. Fine saw and still runs like a champ. And I have run it.
Will it hurt it if I just leave it as it is?Yeah that can happen if the duckbill isn’t fully seated, it forces fuel back into the carb and then through the drillings! I have had that. Pull the purge off, remove the duckbill valve and re-insert it with some oil and push firmly down
Na because the bulb is sealed with the duckbill from allowing air drawn back in. It just shoots fuel into the engine when it shouldn’t, if you press it lol it will spray fuel back in to the return, but not all of it, some goes back into the metering chamber and out the nozzle. Will it hurt it if I just leave it as it is?
