Hello friends, i have been in the tree business for over 14 years and have sold firewood by the truckload or trailer load. I have never considered bundling the wood and selling it to the local hardware stores, but times change i feel the need to get in on this..... Can anyone help me with some pics of their firewood bundlers..... don't want to spend the 1k like on the expensive ones....was hoping for some homemade ones..... they always work the best..... thanks for any good advice too.... Be safe !!!

I have sold a few that I wrapped with that plastic shipping wrap that's like saran wrap, you can get it at a shipping supply store, I got mine from a buddy that worked at a warehouse...

Around here people dont buy to many bundles, However there are racks at local stores that are made outta square tubing that have 5 or 6 2'x4' openings. And the guy that has them is always reloading them, I asked on the price a few years back and it was 25 bucks for less the half a rick. I tell you there is probably 20 of those racks at local gas stations, the station near my house has two of them and he fills them on saturday and there usally empty by thursday. Thats pretty good change when you can buy a cord of nice oak droped and stacked where you want it for 80bucks here

Gotta laugh at those $5.00 throw in your trunk bundles of toothpicks. :)
Can't believe anyone buys those things.
I get all the firewood I can cut and split for free. However, I do see face cords of HW mix at $60.00 here in s.e. mi. delivered and stacked.
When I lived in n.e illinois, it was $80.00 for a friggin christmas tree. :dizzy:
Got an 8' fake with lights included for $75.00 instead and it was good for 5 years. :)
The geographic price differences is incredible.
