Hey Guys,
New to this forum and I hope I am asking this question in the right location. I apologize if not, please bear with me as I learn more about this forum.
We have a Vemeer SC352 Grinder and have only owned it for a couple months. During that time we have had some problems with it including electrical problems with the terminal block as well as problems with bolts breaking that hold the carbide teeth in place.
I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with these bolts breaking? Any advice for me in trying to decrease the frequency of this problem or how any of you have dealt with this issue? It is really a pain to have them break in the middle of a job then have to dig thru a chip pile to find the teeth as it throws them of course when the bolts break.
Also, any tips or tricks or preventive maintenance advice to avoid costly repairs would be really helpful. I have read a little on here about others experience with this model grinder and we always work on our own equipment to avoid costly trips to the dealer.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and I really love this forum and enjoy reading about everyones experience with this trade.
