How many loads (log truck loads) could one expect per acre coming from a typical western Pa. woods. This isn't a real mature woods. I would say average tree diameter is 14". Mostly will produce fire wood loads for the processors. I know thats not much info but just looking for a ball park answer. Thanks in advance.

How much do I weigh? I am a male, 38 years old and a little more than 6' tall.

To answer your question, you will have to get someone to cruise your timber.

Cruise it.I'm guessing, at what sounds like an overstocked stand of hw "junk", 80 tons/acre. Maybe only 65 to 70. Plan on 30 tons per tractor trailer load.

Here's a simple and highly inaccurate way to do so. If you are familiar with what your log trucks in that area carry, go out and concentrate on what trees you would want to cut, and then visualize them on log trucks. Sometimes you can come pretty close, sometimes not. This works best with blowdown. But you might get an idea. If you want accuracy, cruise it the regular way.
