Is this really what the tree service industry is all about????

Why not make an extra pick with the crane? It seems all his pics are way to big and cause him to take longer and take more risks. Why not make two easy picks instead of picks up to the crane's limit.

Why no chaps, ever? Except the black leather chaps the girl had on last night.

Saving tread on the front tires....really?

Why did he cut the one pick below the roof line when he could have cut it higher and avoided the load swinging into the fence.

Bottom line, I want out of my business if this is how my profession is going to be portrayed.

There's big fiasco going on about this subject in the "chainsaw" section. It's basically what ODL said "it's made for TV". Geromes g/f is on there even saying that Paul is an idiot blah blah blah......... but mishaps (drama) makes good TV.

Has anyone thought of drafting a letter to TLC to complain?

Probably not going to happen.....Hell most of us watched the show so it was entertaining....I suppose.

1. Lunch was ordered
2. Got a hot chick go-fering
3. A California based comapny hiring only Americans
4. I am pretty sure he has enough insurance
5. While it appears he beats up on his guys I bet he takes care of them
6. He is conscious of evrything that is happening around him.

So he is a egostical maniac, who isn't? Sure he was hamming it up for the camera. he puts a lot into his work, he wants it to be perfect ( which nobody or anything is) and, like us all, he has things to learn.
Sure he would annoy the crap out of me day in and day out always trying to be in control of everybody but I would rather see him out there than a team of mexicans.
Now I am not sure that dead oak in the backyard would have taken three days though but if he can show the world what it takes to remove a tree then I say " OK". For crying out loud I could show you some real idiots.
