This is my firts post on this site. Actually this is my first post on any internet forum. My question is are complete gasket kits available for a stihl 009. I am doing a total tear down of my dads old saw that has sat for fifteen years. The saw wouldl fire up and run but was leaking bar oil into the crankcase and out the bottom of the saw. I believe the main gasket had been damaged by my father during some sort of maintenance to the oiler. I am not real familiar with chainsaw repair but enjoy a good project. I disassembled the saw and tryed cutting out my own gaskets. after reasssembly the saw no longer leaks bar oil. It now leaks fuel. Still runs but leaks fuel. If available where would I find a complete gasket kit ? I have seen some of the gaskets on ebay but, have not been able to locate the main case gasket. Thanks

Crankcase gasket, 1120-029-0502, and is available.

I had some oiler issues on my 011AV (same saw, different handles). While cutting, a screw on the oiler vibrated loose, and the chain caught it. Broke the ear off inside the oil tank. Now it leaks oil. Beware of loose oiler screws.
