Hello all, I was wondering if there were any Arborist on the site that might like to quote a large Oak take down for me? You will have to climb the tree or have a lift to take it down otherwise I'd do it myself. Thanks in advance.

To clarify for a potential bidder, a few questions. What type of targets are in the immediate work area if the tree is to be climbed and lowered down? Are the logs/wood staying on site? Is all brush staying on site? Is it all being chipped/removed? etc etc. :)

does the wood stay? i'll climb it for ya.

The wood will stay on site. On one side the tree hangs over 24'x32' section of house. However, that portion of the house will be demolished before, during ;-) or after the tree removal. On the other side of the tree there is a shed that houses all my saws and other toys. I will post some pics tonight.

I believe the brush will need to be chipped as it is taken down due to the size of the tree. I have have a Brush Bandit 100 chipper and can do the ground work but I figure most guys would want to do it with there own crew and equipment.

I believe some of the limbs over the shed would need to be lowered down.

dude let the climber wreck the house!!! i would love to do that!!! if you where in kansas i would give you the best rate in the world if you told me that, just so id get to bomb on the house lol.

Yeah flying these days is not so cheap especially when you have to bring gear. I have done quite a bit of flying with my "real job" and it is amazing what the airlines get you for extra luggage especially tool boxes. I got searched in Paris, it was pretty funny having the guys ask me what every tool did and the pretty scary looking set of test knives for the machine I was working on. I can just see them asking you about the chainsaw.

Bombin the house would be hilarious, I can see myself now throwing blocks out the front window.

maybe even do it for that 044 you got. what kind of shape is that saw in?

I sent you a PM please give me a call.

The 044 has maybe 5 hours on it since WHS did the work on it. It was a used saw that I sent out to them. They put on a new Baileys piston and cylinder (ported) and I had them do the crank bearings while they were at it.

The saw is definitely up for negotiation. I have a kid on the way, tons of saws and I am more of a Husky guy anyway.
