Well I am going to try to put a pic with this. So if it works, I want to know if someone would strap this old monster of a chain on the hotsaw and see how it does. A good long loop of it. Still in the orginal box from Lombard saw co. Its even got that nice sticky stinky grease on it to. I also got new drives and spacers for this size of chain and even rivets too. Just got to talk the wife in finding me a saw to put it on.

Hey thats where the handle MADSAW comes from. A guy would have to be mad to rip into a cunk of wood with that on a saw. Nothing like stalling out a saw with that kind of bite.

I've never heard of racing with scrather chain before. have you tried it yet? looks like it would rip the saw out of your hands like a chisel chain with no depth gauges would on an 090 G

I thought it was, the pics are confusing to me. if its not a scratcher chain and its not a new style of chisel chain then what the $#@ is it?

It doesn't even look like there's a chip channel. Just some big hunk of metal (or carbide) on the front of the cutter with nowhere for the chips to go.

We had one of these Lombards with the Homelite engine and this chain at our old saw contest in Baraboo Wis. a couple of years ago. It kicked everyones a## in the 2-man competion. It cut very agressively, and the slow torquey homelite engine pulled it well. I was impressed.
