Random hunting pictures from the Blues and the Snake River

Howdy all figured Id post some pics from the Blue Mtns. In Wa and on the Snake river. Didn't get anything. Saw 34 deer yesterday on the snake. One was a 2pt. If ida been on the westside ida nailed him bit the 3pt min got me! Lol On the Snake we went from 800ft to 2400ft. Had packed out a buddies girlfriends buck earlier Wend. (similar elev. gain) and I was crapped out by the end of this hunt!

I would love to hunt land like that. There's some beautiful scenery in those pictures.

Got a buddy lives in those parts. I go visit a couple times a year. We just hit the hills and wander around and try to get lost. Awesome country.

I'm hoping to take my raft on a couple day muley float trip next year in that area, but hunt my side of the water. That or the lower Salmon.

Very nice! Def be a heck of a hunt on the Salmon! real purty country there.

The Grande Rhonde is a darn good steelie stream from what I hear. Haven't had a chance to try it out though.

Sure is; if you went down that hill

and turned left at the bottom and go another 3/4 of a mile east that's were this set-up was about month each year (mine is the one on the left) :msp_biggrin:

From bighorns; deer; turkeys; elk; bears and different types of cats all with in 5 miles of my camp down this is vary neat and beautiful area :msp_smile:

Every time the old man has been down in the blues he's seen and or heard elk but we didn't this yr just some really old tracks. A previous season he ran into a local that said they caught wolves on trail cams and they are workin in the blues now....

Ahahaha yupp! was just through there 2 weeks ago! lol Pretty bad when you have to start counting the live stock and pets to put ya on the map... I'll have to do a post about what I was up to this week. Can anyone say Convention! :msp_biggrin:

Got this guy up my way. Got to watch him and a bigger buck bump heads for a while. Couldn't get a shot on the bigger one but I'm happy with him.
