Check the purple (hot) wire (at last it is purple on the super 50) for a short... usually at the bend where the panel opens or rubbing somewhere on the frame... look for wear either on the wire or the paint where the wire is touching the machine. Runs from the ignition switch back. Also could be a loose connection at the ignition switch... I've had that cause a problem in the super 50... no juice to instrument panel... though it never blew any fuses...
