Looking for some tips on attaching the tool to my belt better than that useless clip that comes on the end of the handle. I can't get the handle off the thing for nothing.

not sure which you have but does it have a small ring on the bottom you can put a little biner on.

Is this the one that you have? How do you like it?

Can you cut that swivel snap off and use the ring to attach a biner to?

Yes that is the sidekick. The ring is essentially a carter pin. It pulled out, didn't take much. Upon seeing the engineering off that setup I was quick to devise something else. I tried to pull the handle off but that seems impossible. What I need to do is drill another hole into the handle to thread something through to get started. Just wondering, first if anyone had a better idea. Others must have tried to lose that carter pin, dog snap setup it was heavy.

And yes, I like it. Other that the dog snap, carter pin it's pretty rigid. It's not the greatest tool in the bag to have to "reach" for because anticipating using it is a pita, it's a bit awkward to extend the thing in a tree but it sure beats other methods I've used to reach for a rope. It's pricey at $50. for sure but I've made the money back in time a couple of times over. It's lite weight too.
