:)Not quite.. I got this today.

It has been forty million years since I pulled a trailer on a highway. I had one block to get used to it and then on the interstate and through Portland I went. The trailer is basically a secure queen size bed with a "galley" where you can cook or do whatever under the hatch in the back. I'd been researching them for some time, made a phone call, they had one left and were trying hard to get rid of it so I drove down this morning and got it.

It does just like it says, It goes where it is towed. My little 4 banger had no problems pulling it.

Now, into the shop for some tricking out. I'd like to get rid of the stripes and put some flames on it. :)

I still can back a trailer too!

The things are hard to find around here. I was almost ready to build one.
Maybe I'll take it to a GTG this year.

That is a cool setup Patty. Maybe do a matching scheme with truck and trailer. Id like one but its probably too small for wife and 5 kids.

Hitch?

is that a hitch on the back of the trailer or is it there for a slide in steel rack. it'll keep u outa the weather.

Forget the 5 kids. Just you and the Mrs. for the weekend and you just might have 6. I don't see a heater so you will need to keep warm some how:).

Looks like a nice tow and a good comfy place to sleep.

Pretty cool!! you have another hitch so you could have a small train going down the highway. :)

I really pondered building one. But I wanted instant gratification. I got it backed into the shop, which is an uphill backup, and my clutch was pretty stinky by the time I got the trailer inside. I need practice with a padded building.

Funny, all the times I helped my dad hookup and unhook trailers, it all came back, but without the cussing. Well, certainly not as much cussing. :)

I am still feeling shaky from going through Portland several hours ago.

Have you got the Used Dog in there yet? And you notice that I didn't make any comparison between feet size and trailer size. I'll let 2Dogs do that.

How kind of you. Nope, I need to do some work and designate the dog area.
He likes to sleep curled up, so it should be easy to teach him. Now, as for his snoring, that's a different matter. Maybe he needs one of those machines?

Just a thought. Maybe a little retractable awning outside for the dog to sleep under? A wet Lab is nothing pleasant to spend the night with. Mine used to go with me when we were on camp jobs but after the first night I wouldn't let him in the pickup canopy until I made sure he was dried off. Wet dog smell just kinda gets into everything.

That's a neat setup...looks just like the ones those honda goldwing riders pull behind their bikes ;)

Thanks. It is a bigger version. The same outfit makes them for bikes, mini coopers and then a bigger 6 foot wide model. This one is 5 feet wide and weighs just under 900 pounds.

Being slightly claustrophobic, one of the selling points of this kind was the big door/window in front. Tomorrow, I will start cleaning and....decorating. It'll need curtains. ;)

That thing is really slick, Bet it's easy to tow. Got any pics of the inside? Be neat to see how it's laid out inside.

I plan on cleaning it out good today. There is a dead fly and some crumbs in it. They kept it unlocked during store hours and on display. The mattress is pretty thin. If I'm staying in such a swanky "tent", I want a thicker one. I can sit up inside.

They make tent room attachments. Maybe later, after the checkbook fills a bit.

More not very good photos, of the inside. I removed the mattress for cleaning. It is now all vacuumed out, and I have a Damp Rid thing in it. With the mattress back in, I have about 8 inches of head room when I sit up.

The hatch is up.

I have this fabric that I can use to make outdoorsy curtains with. Or I might pay homage to the Scandihoovian cowboy ancestors and get some cowboy fabric. Or do both.:)

It is a good day for doing this. Windy and wet.

That thing looks good inside, looks comfy and warm. That would be a neat trailer to have for weekend deals and overnight stays. Most big campers are a pain to hook up. Thanks for putting the pics up. I like it.
