$10,850 for the poplar, +$5000 for the trees knocked down into the ravine. took a day and a half.
You used y'all twice in one sentence, Carl, where are you from?
God Bless a country boy! :D

we even made the newspaper.

that was really sick. i did notice however that in the first picture where you are standing on a chunk of the spar, was that saw running? i assmune it wasnt but if so i wouldnt want to be in that position if that saw kicked back

So Tree you did nearly $16,000 in less then 2 days?

Yikes!!!
congrats.gif

That was Joey Cornell standing on the log, (spars are vertical).
He can handle it. so can I.
of course the saw was running, that makes the chain turn,:D

Not a lot of kickback with an 088, (god help you when it does), had to be done.

Thanks to people like John Paul Sanborne, Chad Brey, Lance Wallace, and Joey Cornell and his partner Patrick.

Where we got hit in Maryland, a friend of mine was charging $4500 - $5600 just to take a tree off the house and set it on the yard. And that was with a 45' crane on a polecat that he just bought for $15,000. He did seven of those jobs the day after Isabel hit.

Thanks for those pics.
Monster tree indeed. Whole op looks squared away!
Clean job to, that is always a plus.
You had the crane a whole month? Daum thats gotta be alright. I'd have stayed tied into that bugger as much as possible. Monster crane that one is!
