Hello,

I just got a hold of a used Brush Bandit 200 with a
2.3L ford engine (The Pinto engine) - and I cant find the
dip-stick for the life of me! I have re-bult about 20
engines in my lifetime, and I am feeling like a total fool
here. - This stuff is not new to me - but I am failing
at the basics here!

So, did the previous owner remove the dip stick
(like with a tree branch or something - and then
seal the hole shut?) or is there some oddball filler
procedure where you have to remove a fill plug
and fill 'er up until oil comes out?) (like the new,
stupid Ford "sealed" automatic transmissions?)

Thanks,

---Lou

If it was the Pinto engine, you never had to worry about checking the oil. They just blew up before they hit 3000 miles!

Sorry....Just what you need is a comedian on Mon. morning while trying to get your equipment going...really....sorry!

Good luck.
