Recent Red Oak Milling

Been awhile since I milled and posted pics. This is a section of red oak which was taken down in July 2011. Friend had a lightening struck tree removed and I got all the goodies. Also had a huge Hickory removed and I got a Maple down for him.....I got all the goodies.

I hope to make a thick mantle piece and figure something else with the thinner slabs.

Whether inserting image or managing attachments, I dont get the "mountain" looking image button. I'm an idiot and I'll reread the picture posting thread or read past the first page.
