In soccer you get a yellow card for a minor penalty and a red card for a major penalty. Like technical fouls in basketball. Go Suns!

Looks like money talks in England as everywhere...

The Forest Service issues "red cards" to fire fighters that list the skills they are qualified to perform, including tree falling. I have never heard of the term in tree service work.

It must relate to tree falling. I was looking at a job description in Grand Canyon AZ. that requires tree workers to have a Red Card.

Ekka is right. A red card is a license or certificate and allows you to do prescribed burns and be eligible to fight wild fires. I received mine two years ago and you have to take a physical test each year to renew it.

They want a "c" faller cert on your red card. if you dont have one you nedd to do the basic training and get a card. :umpkin:
