Red oak stump slabs

finalky got around to start slabbing out a big oak trunk that came from my parents front yard, here’s a few so far. They are just under 10’ long, 2.5” thick and range from just about 22” up to 33” wide, Might get a few out to about 35” before I’m done

See what you can do to get the log off the ground a bit to a more comfortable height, and slope it a bit for easier cutting. Some suggestions can be found in the Milling 101 sticky.

It’s off the ground on some 6x6 and limb from the same tree, still to heavy to roll it so it’s flat. , Over al it was oval and i still have roughly a 36” thickness to slab out
