I have a NOS small one, 2" dia.

And another on a 'not much count' bar.

But, I suspect you want a medium, 2 1/2" dia.

The large is 3 1/2" dia. [emoji15]
Not often encountered.

You suspect right Carl, 2 1/2" is what I'm looking for. I don't really even have a use for the bar yet, just putting it out that I am looking for a tip for it.

Of course if I did have a tip for it I would probably have to try that 32" bar out on the SL7A.

I sent what I THOUGHT was a PM yesterday, but the 'form' seemed unusual.....

I have two 20" Remington bars with roller nose, one is wider and does have the 2.5" DIA roller. - Nose part no. is 48950. The bar does have some rust scale, so woulda needed some spiffin' up anyway... Thus, I could either send the whole bar if you want it, or could pull the nose and send just that.

Huh, I don't remember getting a PM? Oh well, thanks! I wasn't looking for anyone to breakup a good bar and tip. I have to wonder about the mount on that bar though, what was it on? The slots remind me of a Mac mount but that that bar slot looks huge.

I'm wondering if Remington made bars for dealers to sell for other makes? I know Poulan sold some Poulan branded bars with the Oregon universal mount so dealers could sell bar to other makes owners.

Then again, a lot of the Remington bars I see for the bigger saws were the universal mount.

Lets see if JJ comes up with something, if not we can revisit this?

I have no idea from whence it came, service-wise....!

Sure, just let me know if it is needed. Indeed, no greater love has a bar, than that it...in effect....lay down its life for a brother bar; that another may live and work-on.....:)

That would be cool, same 2 1/2" tip right?

Do you have any idea what saw Renaissawnceman's bar came off of, or was it modified?
Here's a photo of the end with measurements. It's about 1/4" thick.
There is a little play in the roller bearings but would probably work for limited use. PM me your address if you want it.
That bar isn't like the one on my GP but I've seen that style bar before - maybe on my 2MG.
