Rescue Tape

Doing some basic maintenance today. Came across "rescue tape" while looking for some tape to clean up some rope ends. Stuff works good, time will tell how well it will hold up. Anyone ever use this stuff?

just remember when removing to pull hard and fast and make sure you get it in one try.

Red was all they had at the store, looks like you can get a few different colors.

I've been using narrow strips of duct tape, but they don't really hold up over time. You stretch this tape as you are wrapping and it bonds as you go. Looks like it will work out, just thought I'd share it and get some feedback in case anyone has used the stuff before.
